Driver Coaching.

All professional sports people have coaches. Tennis players, footballers, golfers, they all have one, sometimes more than one. Yes, even race and rally drivers have coaching. Some of the most familiar faces in international motorsport have a professional coach analysing their performance and helping win races, rallies and entire championships. Who are they? Unless you look closely, you'll never see them. They're the figure in the motorhome and at the back of the pit garage. Part of the crowd cheering as the winner climbs onto the podium.

Competitors, track day drivers and performance car enthustiasts often spend a great deal of money on trying to improve their cars’ performance – we know, we’ve done it ourselves – but the time to be found by a driver prepared to thoroughly analyse his own input often surprises…..

Course Subjects and Content

No two drivers are alike, so therefore no two courses should be alike. Andrew undertakes a detailed discussion before the day to set objectives and make sure the content of the course reflects what you are trying to achieve. This is not an off-the-peg template where one size fits all, but a bespoke service designed specifically for people serious about their driving. It is also not a corprate day or a birthday present type service, though we cater for those areas here. For the avoidance of doubt, the skills you will learn can be deployed in a road car equally as well as a competition car.

The Venue

Our venue in North Yorkshire is a vast, open expanse of prepared surface used by companies and organisations as diverse as Formula 1 teams and Police high speed driving instructors. It is a wide open space and allows us to accurately simulate and practise what happens during high speed handling of high performance road, race and rally cars.
